The allure of the Emirates is revealed through a wide array of shades, with particular emphasis on a beige tone that evokes the enchanting allure of the desert. This warm and enveloping hue is mirrored in the watch dial, blending harmoniously with the structure of the mother-of-pearl mosaic. The mosaic is composed of two types of tiles: parallelograms and hexagons, distinctive and recurring elements in Arabic art.
This particular technique requires a complex manufacturing process. It begins with the selection of the finest mother-of-pearls, which are then cut into fragments of specific sizes. Each fragment is meticulously colored using appropriate pigments. Finally, the individual tiles are hand-placed and applied to a brass surface, thus forming an intricate mosaic that lends each dial the charm of the Middle East.
GMT is the acronym for Greenwich Mean Time, which is the local time of the zero meridian of the homonymous London district. The GMT module consists of an additional hand, with an arrow-shaped tip, which completes one revolution every 24 hours. This allows you to keep track of a time zone other than the local time, already marked by the hour hand (which completes a cycle in 12 hours).
