Meccaniche Veneziane is pleased to announce an important partnership with Watches & Crystals, official distributor for the United Kingdom. Through a joint operation, starting from the well-known designs of Redentore, Nereide and Arsenale, concepts dedicated to the British market have been developed.
In particular, a special series of only 200 Nereide was created bearing the historic logo of the famous British company. All the models belonging to these collections can be purchased exclusively at Watches & Crystals.
Of the various collections, Redentore Racing is probably the most significant in relation to UK tradition and aesthetics. This was in fact created to commemorate the Veteran Car Run, the oldest and most evocative race in the world, dating back to 1896.
In order to enhance the intrinsic features of the Arsenale model, the Meccaniche Veneziane design team, together with Watches & Crystals, focused on the creation of a special series dedicated to the world of the British navy. All these models are characterized by the flat and matte dial, which favors maximum readability even in conditions of poor visibility. Furthermore, all the Made in Italy straps of this special series have been made of suede leather with various camouflage colors.
