An event that captures the essence of Venice and its centuries-old history: the Regata Storica, which once again this year enchanted thousands of spectators along the Canal Grande.
For the 2025 edition, Venezianico had the honour of participating as official sponsor, celebrating the city from which everything began and the profound bond that ties us to its timeless spirit.

Nereide Regata Storica 2025 – Two unique pieces
To celebrate the Regata Storica 2025, Venezianico created an exclusive timepiece: the Nereide Regata Storica 2025 – Special Edition, produced in just two examples and presented to the winners of the "Gondolini Uomini" category. A watch that embodies the strength, precision and elegance of Venice's most iconic race.
The light blue dial and strap evoke the reflections of the lagoon, whilst the 120-click tungsten bezel represents the solidity and determination of the rowers. The 42 mm 316L stainless steel case combines robustness with harmony, and the engraved case back—bearing the official Regata logo and a dedication to the winners—makes it an authentic symbol of Venetian tradition. Beating within is the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, a Swiss Made calibre renowned for its precision and reliability—qualities shared by the Regata's athletes.
The award ceremony at the Venetian Arsenal
The closing ceremony of the Regata Storica 2025 took place at the heart of the Venetian Arsenal, during the Salone dell'Alto Artigianato, at the Venezianico stand.
In this setting of excellence, and in the presence of the Mayor of Venice, the two champion winners of the "Gondolini Uomini" category received their Nereide Regata Storica 2025 – Special Edition watches directly from the hands of Alessandro Morelli, co-founder of Venezianico.
It was a moment of profound emotion, marking the official close of the event: a meeting between the world of horology and Venetian rowing tradition, united by the same philosophy—the pursuit of perfection through discipline and passion.
"Being part of the Regata Storica is, for us, a gesture of gratitude towards the city that has inspired us," commented Alberto Morelli. "With this Special Edition, we wanted to create a bridge between the technique of time and the tradition of rowing, celebrating both victory and the beauty of La Serenissima."
