Over thousands of years, water containing silica penetrates these cavities, creating distinctive layers of color and structure. With meticulous care, a stone without inclusions or impurities is chosen, then skillfully cut and polished to obtain a uniform disc. Subsequently, the level on which the indices will be positioned is accurately applied, completing the dial. This complex and meticulous process requires great precision and manual skill.
The watch caseback features a detailed engraving depicting an image of a volcano in full eruption. This iconographic choice intimately connects to the watch's design concept, as the agate dial, with its unique striations and shades, visually recalls the natural phenomena associated with the formation of volcanoes and the action of lava on rock. At the bottom, there is an engraving of the number determining membership in the limited edition.
